We are stepping into a pretty significant subject in the sermon this week. 1 Corinthians 5 is about a church discipline situation in the Corinthian church. There is no way we can address all of the issues in the sermon, and I am sure people will have questions. 9 Marks Ministry is an organization associated with Mark Dever and Capital Hill Baptist Church. Healthy church discipline is one of the marks they cite (and we agree with this) of a healthy church, and they have published a journal with multiple articles answering questions about this topic.
