Monday April 18 – Core Value of Jesus
As we celebrate our 10th year as a church, we would like to ask you to join us praying for the next ten years. We have prepared a 10 day prayer experience that will involve all of us in praying over our core values and vision as a church. Today we would like you to pray over our Core Value of Jesus.
*Jesus – A place where Christ is central in all things.
*Scripture – Colossians 1:15-20
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.
(Colossians 1:15-20 ESV)
▸ Praise God for sending His Son, the fullness of God in flesh to rescue and redeem us. Rejoice and give thanks for ten years of our making much of Jesus together.
▸ Pray that we would continually remember that the only message we have and hope we can offer is Christ crucified, buried, and risen.
▸ Pray for our Genesis Institute and other special studies as we seek to involve people in deeper Biblical studies where they will grow in knowledge and life application of the Gospel.
▸ Ask God to work in our lives continually so that we might see Jesus more clearly, love Him more dearly, and follow Him more nearly each day.
