10 Days of Prayer to Celebrate 10 Years – Day 2

As we celebrate our 10th year as a church, we would like to ask you to join us praying for the next ten years. We have prepared a 10 day prayer experience that will involve all of us in praying over our core values and vision as a church.   Today (Monday April 11) we would like you to pray over our Core Value of Mission.

*Mission – A place with a great commitment to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission
*Scripture – Matthew 22:34-40, Matthew 28:17-20

But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question to test him. “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”
(Matthew 22:34-40 ESV)

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
(Matthew 28:18-20 ESV)
▸ Praise God that He has shown His love to us and invited us into His mission. Rejoice and give thanks for 10 years of our joining God in His mission in Eureka and beyond.
▸ Pray that we would be a people who love God deeply, and love others as we love ourselves.
▸ Pray for our partnerships with Acts 29, PlantMidwest, and Southern Baptists as we continue to find ways to live on mission, preach the Gospel, and plant new churches.
▸ Ask God to give us grace as we seek to live on mission as a church in Eureka. Pray that God would help us be a Great Commission church as we go forward.
