Sharing a few resources you might consider if you want to take a deeper dive into our sermon on Revelation this week from our Top 10 series.
The Knowing Faith podcast – with Kyle Worley, J T English, and Jen Wilkin spent this past season (Season 14) walking through the book of Revelation in every other episode. These discussion were terrific and worth the listen. They were careful to look at the book as literature, address issues for those in the 1st Century, and explain things from all four views. It was so good. For the other episodes, they looked at big theological issues, so also worth the listen.
Four Views of Revelation, Article from Evidence and Answers – I found this to be the most simple and straight forward explanation of the four views, with strengths and weaknesses of each demonstrated.
Jen Wilkin’s Bible Study, Revelation: Eternal King, Everlasting Kingdom – Although written primarily for women, this Bible study (and accompanying 10 week video series) has a lot to offer anyone.
Revelation: Four Views, A Parallel Commentary – This is a super-helpful Bible study tool for those who wish to do a study of this book while seeing the various perspectives. Using four separate columns side by side, it shows how each view tends to interpret the texts in commentary format for every verse and passage in the book.
And finally, a couple video resources from the Bible Project. These are part 1 and 2 of their overview of the book of Revelation.
