We want to invite you to a very special worship experience on Sunday September 29, as Matthew Smith who is part of the Indelible Grace Worship community will be at Genesis as part of our morning service, leading our worship music. Our service begins at 10:00 AM at Blevins Elementary in Eureka. The service will include lots of music as well as other elements of our service, including a short sermon from our pastor addressing the importance of singing. The service is a family service, so Genesis Kids will only be available for babies and toddlers.
Matthew Smith is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter who writes brand new melodies to centuries-old hymn texts, helping guide people into emotionally honest worship. He is a founding member of the Indelible Grace community, whose work has drawn acclaim across denominational lines and is used in churches around the world. Born out of a college ministry, the reimagined hymns have found wide acceptance both among college students and the church at large, joining people who desire to honor tradition with those who want a modern musical approach. His latest album is QuietHymns.
As part of the experience that morning we will also be highlighting the ministry of Compassion International and encouraging people to consider child sponsorships.
