Wedneseday, April 13 – Core Value of Truth
As we celebrate our 10th year as a church, we would like to ask you to join us praying for the next ten years. We have prepared a 10 day prayer experience that will involve all of us in praying over our core values and vision as a church. Today we would like you to pray over our Core Value of Truth.
*Truth – A place where the Bible is the final standard.
*Scripture – 2 Timothy 3:14-17
But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

▸ Praise God for making Himself known by sending His Son and giving us His Word in the Scriptures. Rejoice and give thanks for the ways God has shaped Genesis in the past 10 years as we have sought to be faithful to the Word of God.
▸ Pray that God would protect us from false teaching and dangerous doctrines over the next 10 years.
▸ Ask God to give our congregation a deep love for the Scriptures, and a communal faithfulness to reading, learning, memorizing, and applying the Bible to our lives.
▸ Pray for Pastor Mike as he and others who preach continue to see Jesus as the center and theme of all Scripture, and that we would faithfully preach the Gospel from the Word of God week in and week out.
