As we celebrate our 10th year as a church, we would like to ask you to join us praying for the next ten years. We have prepared a 10 day prayer experience that will involve all of us in praying over our core values and vision as a church.
Day 1 – Sunday, April 10: Praying over our purpose
*Our purpose – Genesis exists to help people find a new beginning in Christ and become more like Him.
*Scripture – 2 Corinthians 5:16-21
From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

▸ Praise God that He has reconciled us and given us the ministry of reconciliation. Rejoice and give thanks for God allowing us to faithfully proclaim His Gospel in Eureka for the past 10 years.
▸ Pray that God would help us remain focused on our main purpose, to be a Christ-exalting, disciple-making church.
▸ Lift up our Elders in prayer.
▸ Ask God to help us reach many people for Christ in our city during the next 10 years.
